Nearly no design comes so close to your body in everyday life as the design of food. All your senses are activated and every detail on the table, every small moment is of importance in the perception of food. For me it is fascinating to create moments with food to make the recurring and necessary special.
Henrieke Neumeyer is a designer from Germany, her focus lies in the design of experimental forms of eating. She studied industrial design at the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel. During her fourth semester she studied abroad at the Design Academy Eindhoven. After an internship at Katja Gruijters in the Netherlands she currently study at the Weißensee Academy of Art in Berlin.
Her projects have been exhibited at the Dutch Design Week 2017 and 2020, the Jerusalem Design Week 2018 as well as at the Salone del Mobile Milano and the Vienna Design Week 2019.
