Fortune cookies date as far back as the 19th century. The „Cookie Oracle“, a fortune telling automata, refreshes the concept with the 21th century technology. It makes use of the ability of 3D printers to individualize goods.
The user has to answer simple, but revealing either/or-style questions like: dream or reality, mountain or ocean etc. Personalized future predictions are printed in form of an edible cookie. A card is dispensed that functions as a legend, on which the cookie has to be placed, thus revealing the future predictions.
